Sad day in football as top English club lose captain to cold hands of death .

Leee Collins, Yeovil Town captain has been taken away by death at the age of 3, BBC reports. The cause of his death has not been revealed by the National League side and the team were preparing to play a league game against Altrincham but has been postponed.

 Collins began his career with Wolves and had short spells with Port Vale, Barnsley, Northampton Town, Mansfield Town and Forest Green Rovers.

The center-back joined Yeovil in 2019 and made his last appearance in February in their last game against Stockport. 

He was listed on the bench in Yeovil's 3-1 win over Barnet before death came knocking on the door. After the game, BBC radio commentator Sheridan Robins was excited to have the charismatic captain back in the squad.
