Getting His Coins: Rivers Governor Gifts Burna Boy Land, Money to Build, Other Artistes Get N10M Each .

Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu landed in Port-Harcourt on Saturday, March 27, for a homecoming event to celebrate his recent win at the Grammys.

The singer was given nothing short of a royal welcome by fans in the state as well as the Rivers governor, Nyesom Wike.

During the homecoming concert which held much later in the day, Governor Wike announced that he would be rewarding the Twice as Tall singer with a piece of land in the old GRA area of Port Harcourt.

As if that was not enough, the governor also pledged to give the singer money to develop the piece of land. Interestingly, Burna Boy was not the only winner of the night. Governor Wike also announced that he would be rewarding fellow Port-Harcourt bred artistes who came out to show support and celebrate Burna Boy. The governor said they will be rewarded with the sum of N10 million each.
