Former Super Eagles Midfielder Dies After Brief Illness.

 Ex-Nigerian international who manages NPFL side Lobi Stars, Barnabas Imenger, is dead. The sad news was confirmed by the club's media officer Austin Tyowua who stated that the former midfielder passed away in the wee hours of Monday, March 22.

He described the demise of the Lobi Stars’ team manager as a huge loss to the team and the country at large. It was gathered that Imenger had been in and out of the hospital for some months before his eventual demise on Monday. Further findings have it that Imenger was placed on life support at the Federal Medical Centre, Makurdi, Benue State, and after the situation got worse, he was then referred to the National Hospital in Abuja.
