Former FIFA President Blatter Gets New Six-Year Ban From Football For Multiple Offences .

 The former president of world’s football governing body FIFA Sepp Blatter whose initial suspension was about ending this year has been handed fresh ban.


Blatter will have nothing to do with the game of football until 2028 having been handed fresh six years and eight months ban by FIFA. The 85-year-old was issued the additional ban for what FIFA described as “various violations” of the body's code of ethics. 

Blatter, 85, has been given the additional ban for "various violations" of the body’scode of ethics, as well as a fine of £780,000. 

In the same vein, former general secretary of the body Jerome Valcke - who is also currently banned from the game - has received the same punishment after also being found guilty of a string of charges. 

Blatter is currently banned from football until October 2021, while 60-year-old Valcke is banned until October 2025. And this is coming barely two months that Blatter was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, according to his daughter .

Blatter who was president for 17 years, has had health problems in November 2015 and July 2016.
