Man United Legend Wayne Rooney Retires From Football And Named Derby County Manager

The former England International was confirmed by Derb on Friday as the full-time replacement of the fired former Netherlands coach Philip Cocu, who Rooney had first succeeded on an interim basis back in November.


 Wayne Rooney agreed a permanent deal with Derby until 2023 as he tolls the line of his the former England teammate, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard.
 The club statement confirmed that in accepting the manager’s role, Rooney had “elected to call time on his illustrious playing career to fully focus on his job”.
Rooney who jafter leaving Manchester United went back to his boyhood club Everton, before moving to the MLS and then back to England to join the Championship side Derby County.
