Communist Vietnam records its first locally transmitted coronavirus case in 89 DAYS after shutting the country to defeat virus

 Vietnam has recorded its first locally transmitted case of coronavirus in nearly three months.A man was infected by his flight attendant relative who had tested positive after returning from Japan two weeks ago.

The 32-year-old man was confirmed as the first reported domestic infection in 89 days. 

The country's health minister ordered provinces and state agencies to tighten screening and controls and contact tracing efforts were launched.

With its strict quarantine and tracking measures, the Communist country has managed to quickly contain its coronavirus outbreaks with one of the world's toughest draconian crack down on its citizens' freedoms.  

The country was able to close off its borders and shut off its country thanks to its authoritarian political system.
