NFF appoints American, Waldrum, new Falcons coach

The Nigeria Football Federation has appointed former Trinidad and Tobago coach Randy Waldrum as the new head coach of the Super Falcons.

Waldrum’s appointment was announced in a statement by the Communications Department of the NFF, which was made available to our correspondent on Monday.

His appointment comes a year after former coach, Thomas Dennerby, resigned from the Falcons job.

According to the NFF, consulting firm, Phillips Consulting, helped in Waldrum’s appointment.

The statement quoted NFF President, Amaju Pinnick, as saying the new coach would take Falcons to the next level.
