Prince William and Kate Middleton Took Their Kids to the Isles of Scilly for a Summer Vacation

As the COVID-19 pandemic halts most summer travel, many are opting for local getaways. This includes the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who are currently on vacation in the Isles of Scilly, an archipelago off England's Cornish coast.
The pair decided to take their three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, on the little trip before school started up again.
The royal family, however, did not choose this vacation destination at random. The Isles hold special significance to Prince William, who traveled there when he was young, along with his parents and brother. Photos from the 1989 trip show Prince Charles, Princess Diana, William, and Harry riding bicycles and exploring the Isles' rocky coastline. It makes sense that William would want to share these memories, and create new ones, with his own children.
